Florence’s debut book is publishing in may 2023 with sphere & little brown book group uk.

Women deserve to feel pleasure. They deserve to enjoy the benefits it brings to their brain and wellbeing, to make time for themselves, to explore and celebrate their bodies and desires and feel no shame with regards to them, to understand their anatomy, to be turned on, to articulate to other people how they like to be touched, to orgasm. With these 25 erotic stories designed to be masturbated to, plus 25 mouth-opening tips on how to make the most of masturbation, finally women can take what they deserve.

Masturbation is proven to release serotonin, dopamine and oxytocin (all the good things) in our brains. It also helps us to learn what gives us pleasure - which can enhance our external sex lives - and with the right encouragement it can improve the way we feel about our bodies. And yet, despite all these benefits, most women report feeling uncomfortable confessing to it. This book is on a mission to blow that taboo away. The more we talk about and normalise masturbation, the better we'll get at it, and the more of its benefits we'll enjoy. Whether you use this book for some much-needed 'me' time or to spice up your sex life with a special someone, it will give you the tools to not only feel something, but to feel everything.

About Florence…

Florence Bark is a director, content-creator and sex and relationships expert who speaks to millennials and young people with honesty and humour. Using her own experiences as (often painful) gold, her expansive, multi-disciplinary work cuts to the heart of what it means to live in pursuit of a genuinely fulfilling and growth-inspiring love and sex life.

Florence is the co-creator of Come Curious, a leading British sex and relationships YouTube channel, with over 218k subscribers. Their award-winning podcast ‘F**ks Given’ has over 5 million listens on episodes exploring everything from polyamory and fetishes to STIs and having difficult conversations with your partner. Its success hit a peak during the pandemic when the public found themselves lonely, heartbroken, or experimenting and hungry for a new type of sex and love life. In 2020, Bark and her co-creator and co-host Amber Reed graced the cover of the Guardian Weekend, with the supplement stating, “their message is resonating”.

Her quick-witted ability to create warm and entertaining content comes from her history as an in-demand director for new media. At VICE, Florence worked as a shooting researcher across VICE UK, Broadly and Munchies where she directed, produced, researched and shot viral short-form films. She directed, produced and shot ‘The Time I Faked My Way To The Top of Paris Fashion Week’ starring Oobah Butler, which made the official selection documentary category for the Los Angeles Fashion Film Festival. She progressed on to spearhead content at Kyra TV as Director on NAYVA, an online reality TV show focused on fashion and beauty.
